A premium upgrade was issued to all Qik for Sprint users who updated their Qik for Sprint app to the latest v17.41 from the Android market and there are no cost associated with this premium upgrade.

On 14th October 2011 Date, Microsoft announced the acquisition of Skype. Skype is the leading Internet communications company. Qik is a division of Skype. The acquisition increases the accessibility of real-time video and voice communications, bringing benefits to both consumers and enterprise users. The combination will extend Skype’s world-class brand and the reach of its networked platform, while enhancing Microsoft’s existing portfolio of real-time communications products and services.

Currently, Skype is not handling support for Microsoft products and services. Customers should contact Microsoft directly for support at –

  • The Skype Support website.
  • The Support Network.
  • Email - follow the steps below to submit your support request to us by email. 
  • Live chat for eligible customers.

Skype doesn't currently offer telephone support.

If you are a Skype customer, you can contact Skype Customer Service as follows:

  1. Click this link and sign in with your Skype Name and password.
  2. Select the topic you need help with and the problem you are having. Some information is displayed that might help with your problem.
  3. If the information doesn’t help, click Continue support request.
  4. Select your contact method.
  5. If you chose email, enter your details, describe your problem and then click Send support request. We'll get back to you as fast as we can.
