Hi,
Thanks for contacting Qik.
The app that you saw is Qik Video, and not Qik for HTC EVO 4G. That app is for other android phones, therefore when you install it, a new app comes out on your phone. We have removed Qik for HTC EVO 4G from the Android Market a few days ago due to some update issues, it is now back on the Android Market.
I'd suggest that you uninstall the Qik Video app from the Android Market, and do an update for the Qik for HTC EVO 4G app.
Let me know if you have any additional concerns.
Have a great day :)

Dear users,

We have been seeing some EVO users writing to us and say that they have 2 Qik apps on their phone after they do the update.

In actual fact, the 2 apps are 2 separate apps: Qik for HTC EVO 4G and Qik Video.

The extra app that you see on your phone now is Qik Video, and not Qik for HTC EVO 4G, a different app altogether. That app is for other android phones, therefore when you install it, a new app comes out on your phone.

A few days ago, we have removed Qik for HTC EVO 4G from the Android Market due to some update issues, and some of you might have mistaken Qik Video as the update for the original app on your phone and downloaded that one instead. Qik for HTC EVO 4G is now back on the Android market, and ready for update.

If you are having this issue, I'd suggest that you uninstall the Qik Video app from the Android Market, and do an update for the Qik for HTC EVO 4G app.
