I have installed the "Qik video connect" on my iphone 3G, and is sharing some video over the Qik website. But I found that there exist time different between video and audio, did it imply there is no video-audio synchronization in Qik? Thanks.

Another question is, is there any difference in video resolution between premium version and free version? As I see 352 x 288 both in free and premium version. Thanks.

Furthermore, I am indoor and using the WIFI hotspot just beside me, which adopts 20 Mbps fiber as backhaul. So, there shall not be any problem on signal strength and transmission rate.

In my opinion, if video - audio synchronization is implemented, there should not be any difference between the arriving time of video and audio even the WIFI signal strength is weak or the transmission rate is low. I guess it can be achieved, for example,  either by carrying both video and audio data in each transmitting frame or by re-aligning the arriving frames of video and audio at receiver (like in sequence delivery?).

So, that is why I wonder whether the video - audio synchronization has been implemented in Qik?

Thanks.

Agreed. Qik is not working and rarely does. I get a weak signal every time I try to watch a video sent to my phone, I am on WiFi, so I know it's Qik and nothing more. Only the strong shall survive, and Qik is simply weak.
