Hi, no, the issue is still here. We are talking about version 0.11.33 from July 2011. Samsung Galaxy S 4G (T-Mobile).
And it is combined now with turning down my volume.
So the picture of the own picture is upside down, if using the front camera. But it is correct, if using the back camera.
And as mentioned it turns down the volume at least on my side of the conversation so that I can hardly hear the other side (I need to hold it close to my ear). I turned all volume settings up to maximum, but with an actice QIK application in the background this does not increase the volume (it stays tiny).

Yes, it works as it should now and it also increased the volume which was an issue I forgot to mention in my previous post, thanks.

I have the same problems. Video is inverted and I get no sound at all. We don't get sound on speaker phone, Bluetooth or regular speaker mode. My wife has the same issue and our phones and system info are the same.The sooner you can figure this out the better. I am out of town a lot for work and I would love to be able to video chat with my wife and daughters. My 7 year old would be ecstatic over it.

I have the same problems. Video is inverted and poor sound. Bluetooth or regular are very weak We have four phones of same build, firmway adn same issue and our phones and system info are the same.The sooner you can figure this out the better. you did the hard part witht the video, now do the easy part and invert picutre and add sound.
Hi lynette 1- yes, this update patch fixed the picture orientation. And it increased the sound volume too (although it seemed to me that the regular speaker phone mode is louder). Thank you very much !

***CAN NOT HEAR *** video inversion is fixed. but you still have the other half of the problem in that the voices barely audible as reported previously. turn up the volume a lot and improve voice quality. most important is voice and second is video. if video needs to be herky jerky, so be it. but you need tohear the other person
My video is inverted as well as I only get sound from my phones ear piece, I am not able to hear the sound from my phones speaker. Any ideas??
So I installed the update that was sent to me and it did correct the video. Now it disconnects every 30 seconds or so. I still have no sound on one phone and minimal sound on the other. So even though it was upside down and silent before at least I could use it. Now I can't even do that really. Can I get a patch, update or something to fix what the fix broke?

WEAK OR NO AUDIO - The only way to get this fixed is to quit posting and start calling. (Who knows how often anyone reads this and if anyone in management reads this blog)?

And ask that the problem be escalated and ask that it is fixed. Do not accept that it is not their problem; the app was loaded on their phone when you bought it. Tell them this could go viral and be ugly for them and hinder future sales.
Inverted video problem and crashes everytime and does an automatic reboot that freezes up the phone. Seems like this problem has been going on for over a month. if it can't be fixed within a week I am deleting the program. Not worth the hassle

Won't video chat through front facing camera. Only using primary camera. Button to switch is on the screen but only makes screen black for a few seconds before returning to rear camera.
There is a latest update in the Android market, version 11.62 for T-Mobile Video Chat powered by Qik which will resolve the inverted video issue.
