Why are my contacts showing up as not available for video chat when I know they are?

When you see a grey camera icon beside your contacts name, it means that they are offline and not logged in to Qik. However, if you know for sure that they are online, please refresh your contacts list and check again.
To refresh your contacts list,
1) Open the Qik app
2) Go to Video Chat
3) Press the menu button and then tap on refresh
